Abstract

In the spring of 2004, a videoconference was held at the University of Oklahoma to discuss various issues related to open-access publishing. Invited participants included librarians, researchers who have published in open-access journals, several open-access publishers, and the editor of an open-access journal. A summary of the discussions is presented that outlines some of the key issues related to open-access publishing from various viewpoints.
