1. 1. Okadaic acid inhibited basal ODC activity in rat hepatocytes in culture and prevented any increase in ODC activity and in the rate of spermidine uptake promoted by both insulin and hypotonicity. 2. 2. The increase promoted by AIB was not counteracted by okadaic acid.
