Abstract

Although oral candidiasis is considered to be developed by a decline of the immunocompetence of the host, little is known about the details. Therefore, this study was designed to investigate the roles of the expression and function of Toll-like receptors (TLRs) and natural killer (NK) activity in the development of oral candidiasis and in the aging of healthy individuals.
