Abstract

The need of diagnostic tools for low energy–low intensity beams has lead us to the development of a series of suitable devices, in order to perform imaging, profiling and identification of ion beams, with particular care for the EXCYT radioactive beams. The peculiarities of these devices are compactness, handiness and good performance for very low intensity beams ( I beam<10 5 particles/s), in a range of energy from 50 keV up to 8 MeV/A.
