Abstract

In this paper, the off-body performance of a single-input single-output (SISO) system in a mine gallery was evaluated. Measurement campaigns using Monopole antennas have been taken in a gold mine for a line of sight topology. The off-body channel was characterized in terms of the channel impulse response, path loss, RMS delay spread, coherence bandwidth, and channel capacity.
