Abstract

The off-line determination problem of relative orientation for the instrument frames of two strapdown inertial navigation systems is considered. The systems are rigidly fixed on a platform mounted on an airplane fuselage. The information in use is provided by the angular velocity sensors of both these systems. Some special flight maneuvers are proposed to ensure a higher observability.
