Abstract
HISTOLOGIC typing and grading of a total of 233 primary breast carcinomas, analysed for oestrogen receptor content, showed that there was no significant correlation between positive oestrogen receptor values and histologic grade, with high oestrogen receptor levels in all grades. We did, however, find a significant correlation between infiltrating low grade carcinomata of duct origin and positive oestrogen receptor levels.
