Abstract

Odontomas are known as the most common,benign,mixed odontogenic tumor and usually present without clinical symptoms. Diagnosis of the odontomas is usually incidental on radiographic examination. Odontomas is mainly made up of enamel and dentin, although it may also includes cementum and pulp tissue in various forms.Odontomas are divided into two groups: complex and compound odontoma.If the tooth tissues it contains are spread randomly, it is called complex odontoma, if it is organised similar to the tooth shape, it is called compound odontoma.
