Abstract

Odontogenic Myxoma, a benign, slow growing and locally aggressive tumour, is derived from ectomesenchymal component of odontogenic apparatus. Clinically, it may be asymptomatic or may present as pain, diasthesia, ulceration of soft tissues or tooth mobility. On radiographs it appears as unilocular or multilocular radioluscency with cortical expansion and tooth displacement. Treatment modalities vary from simple curettage to radical resection and complete surgical removal is difficult leading to high recurrence rate.
