Abstract

It can be said that political relations with the public are actually 'twin brothers' both of politics and human society. In fact, contemporary political relations with the public actually use long-established basic principles that are adapted to modern conditions. Political-oriented public relations cover issues relating to the common good, which is also a framework for the actions of politicians and political organizations. In addition, the political PR often faces challenges in terms of establishing some form of control over communication with various groups of the public and the very level of conflicts in politics is higher than in any other setting. Contemporary tendencies of political public relations definitely require active presence on the Internet, primarily using the Twitter social network, but always in joint activities with irreplaceable personal presence of politicians or organizations.
