Abstract

Systematization of medical criteria for total evaluation of pains suffered from the moment of injury until the end of rehabilitation represents attempt of real evaluation by introducing a new methodology. Former practice mostly consisted of evaluation of intensity of pain. The intensity of pains is the basis of evaluation during the time in which the pain is suffered (at the moment of injury, through the time until medical intervention, during the medical intervention, during the course of healing, during the secondary intervention). Classification of damages of tooth and surrounding tissues which is adapted for giving an expert opinion and classification of stomatology surgery interventions are prerequisite of this methodology. The health condition of teeth before injury and total evaluation of pain in poli-traumatic conditions are unavoidable factors which are taken into consideration. Classification of total pains and practice experiences are sufficient for completing the overview of this suggested methodology.
