Abstract

This article discusses the occupations of public schools in Goiania that occurred in 2015 and 2016, in the light of the experiences and subjectivities of youth, as a protest against the transfer of school management to Social Organizations. The analysis undertaken focused on three indicators: the panorama of occupations in the State; the political training and socialisation of youth in occupations and the formative impacts of participative experiences and lived experiences. We found that the youth have made visible the concrete ways to defend democratic management and the proposition of another model of human formation and schooling, in greater connection with the collective struggles against the exclusions of society. youth, as a protest against the transfer of school management to Social Organizations and the Secretariat of Security.
