Abstract

Motor vehicle collisions with wildlife are an ongoing concern in Canada. Moose-vehicle collisions cause a characteristic pattern of head and neck injuries, including ocular injuries as part of the spectrum. This case reports describes a 50-year-old man who sustained multiple ocular injuries associated with a moose-vehicle collision in northwestern Ontario. The accident was a frontal collision of a truck with a moose. The truck hit the moose and the moose fell through the windshield onto the man.
