Abstract

Octet and decuplet baryons are described within the hadronized NJL model as diquark-quark states, which are bound by quark exchange. Including scalar and axial-vector diquark correlations, we project the previously obtained relativistic Faddeev equation in a Poincaré invariant fashion onto good spin, using a static approximation to the exchanged quark. The resulting equations for the spin 1 2 octet and the spin 3 2 decuplet are solved numerically.
