Abstract

The Office for Civil Rights recently published an important letter of finding regarding Title IX and when a university is on notice of sexual harassment on campus (bit.ly/3RrRtFW). The letter, which involves Arcadia University, highlights a postsecondary institution's responsibility to respond to sexual misconduct at the earliest point of notice it has regarding the conduct. This article discusses that letter of finding and what postsecondary institutions can learn from it.
