Abstract

Occurrence of gummy stem blight in watermelon in the state of Tocantins, caused by Didymella bryoniae Canker symptoms at the base of stems and brown exudates were observed in watermelon (Citrullus lanatus) plants collected in Formoso Project, Tocantins State. The teleomorphic and anamorphic stages (Didymella bryoniae and Ascochyta cucumis, repectively) were observed.
