Abstract
Drechslera tritici‐repentis, anamorph ofPyrenophora tritici‐repentis, was found in diamond‐shaped, dark‐brown lesions on leaves of several winter wheat crops in England and Wales. Lesions were darker than the otherwise similar lesions caused bySeptoria nodorum.
