Abstract

Occupational skin disease are any skin, skin appendages, mucous membrane alteration caused, maintained or aggravated by factors in occupational environment. Discussion about occupational skin problems, also occupational skin cancer, is important, but occupational origin of the disorder is often missed due to shortage of information. The aim of this article is to acquaint with the historical development, clinical peculiarities and prevention of occupational skin cancers, also with risk factors and risky occupations. The Lithuanian list of occupational diseases, the methods of registration and occupational rehabilitation programs are disscused. Article in Lithuanian doi:10.5200/sm-hs.2012.015
