Abstract

Post-traumatic intramural cecal hematoma is rare. The clinical diagnosis is sometimes difficult. Tomodensitometry plays then a role in the diagnostic. We report a special case by its mechanism, its mode of revelation in the form of small bowel occlusion, its preoperative diagnosis by tomodensitometry and its treatment which required a right hemicolectomy. Keywords: hematoma; coecum; bowel obstruction; surgery
