Hill provides a brief overview of the past year's developments in obstetrics and gynecology, concentrating on ethical issues in human reproduction. Among the topics mentioned are abortion, sex education for adolescents, artificial insemination by donor (AID), surrogate motherhood, in vitro fertilization, and the American Fertility Society's 1986 report on the ethical considerations of the new reproductive technologies.
