Abstract

This paper is a guide to the expert's perspective on preparing reports for the court in cases of obstetric brachial plexus palsy (OBPP). Breach of duty and causation are discussed. Some examples of the main claimant and defence arguments are summarised. Reference is also made to recent High Court judgements.
