Abstract
<div>Mucho se han cuestionado &nbsp;por qu&eacute; los profesionales de enfermer&iacute;a en M&eacute;xico hacemos poca investigaci&oacute;n y la poca que se realiza se queda sin publicarla. Los obst&aacute;culos epistemol&oacute;gicos no permiten desprenderse de ciertos conceptos o conocimientos que pueden obstaculizar la investigaci&oacute;n. El objetivo del presente ensayo es describir la importancia de la investigaci&oacute;n en enfermer&iacute;a y los principales obst&aacute;culos epistemol&oacute;gicos que no permiten avanzar en el desarrollo de la misma.</div><div><br /></div><div>La investigaci&oacute;n permite tener una mirada diferente de la realidad a trav&eacute;s de la aproximaci&oacute;n al objeto de estudio; facilita la interpretaci&oacute;n de otras cosmovisiones; &nbsp;amplia el panorama con respecto a otras disciplinas; permite la toma de decisiones m&aacute;s acertadas y aporta datos para la consolidaci&oacute;n de un cuerpo propio del conocimiento de la disciplina.</div><div><br /></div><div>Los obst&aacute;culos epistemol&oacute;gicos que se&ntilde;ala Bachelard3 son: la experiencia b&aacute;sica, el conocimiento general, m&uacute;ltiples significados, el conocimiento unitario y pragm&aacute;tico, el obst&aacute;culo sustancialista, la libido del conocimiento y otro obst&aacute;culo que no ha sido considerado por Bachelard pero que es importante mencionar: la falta de formaci&oacute;n cient&iacute;fica en enfermer&iacute;a. Cada uno otorga cualidades o reduce el objeto desde una &oacute;ptica particular que limita la visi&oacute;n adecuada del objeto, situaciones psicol&oacute;gicas que impiden la apropiaci&oacute;n del conocimiento y con ello paralizan la evoluci&oacute;n del esp&iacute;ritu cient&iacute;fico al limitar la posibilidad de entender un fen&oacute;meno en su esencia y totalidad, reconstruy&eacute;ndolo desde su pasado lleno de prejuicios e impidi&eacute;ndole mudar hacia una nueva realidad.</div><div><br /></div><div>La investigaci&oacute;n es una actividad que debe interesar a todo profesional de enfermer&iacute;a ya que permite generar conocimientos nuevos para transformar y mejorar nuestro quehacer profesional, adem&aacute;s de contribuir a la consolidaci&oacute;n de la disciplina.</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><div>Much has been questioned why nurses in Mexico do little research and little that is done is left without publishing. Epistemological obstacles do not allow rid of certain concepts or knowledge that may hinder the investigation. The aim of this essay is to describe the importance of nursing research and the main epistemological obstacles that prevent progress in the development of it.</div><div><br /></div><div>The investigation allowed to have a different view of reality through the approach to the object of study, facilitates the interpretation of other worldviews, wide panorama over other disciplines, allows making better decisions, brings knowledge to consolidate own body of knowledge of the discipline.</div><div><br /></div><div>Epistemological obstacles pointing Bachelard are the basic experience, general knowledge, multiple meanings, unit and pragmatic knowledge, substantialist obstacle, the libido of knowledge and other obstacle that has not been considered by Bachelard but it is important to mention is the lack scientific training in nursing; each given qualities or reduces the object from a particular viewpoint that limits the right view of the object, psychological situations that prevent the appropriation of knowledge and thus paralyze the evolution of scientific spirit by restricting the ability to understand a phenomenon in its essence and totality, reconstructing from prejudiced and preventing him from moving into a new reality past.</div><div><br /></div><div>Research is an activity that should interest all nurses since it generates new knowledge to transform our professional work, and contribute to the consolidation of the discipline.</div></div><div><br /></div>
