Abstract

The observer-based state estimation of discrete-time nonlinear systems is carried forward by designing a new maximum-priority-based fuzzy observer. The significant distribution information about the current-time normalized fuzzy weighting functions is well employed by means of a maximum-priority-based switching law. Compared with the existing results, a new fuzzy observer can be provided for the sake of giving less conservative result over previous results proposed in the literature. Finally, several illustrative examples are provided for showing the advantage of the result given in this paper.
