Abstract

Summary The paper deals with the descriptions of the spores of Myxobolus punctatus Ray Chaudhuri and Chakravarty 1970 from Ophicephalus punctatus Bloch and Myxidium apocryptae n. sp. from Apocryptes bato ( Hamilton ), collected at Kalyani, West Bengal, India. Both the parasites have been obtained from the gall bladder of the infected fishes.
