Abstract

Summary On Mexican soil, during a scientific expedition the aim of which was to investigate the biology of Bromeliads, the authors gathered samples of six species of Tillandsia genus. From these saples the authors made taxonomic profiles integrated with the information derived from odservations made in the field regarding: the relationship between the epiphyte and the host; the cohabitation among the epiphytes and the microenvironment of each species. Original drawings accompany the text.
