SummaryContributions are made to the biology of about forty species. Among other items dealt with are parasitism in Cercococcyx; undeseribed nests and eggs, including those of Pseudoalcippe a. abyssinicus, Phyllastrephus f. placidus, Calamonastes s. simplex, Uræginihus cyanocephalus, Cryptospiza salvadorii, and Emberiza poliopleura; removal of its own eggs by a Nightjar (Caprimulgus); care of young Klaas's Cuckoos by birds of their own species; polygamy and monogamy in the Ploceus spp.; subspecific and local voice‐variation; communal nest‐building in Spermestes nigriceps; the number of grass‐stems comprising a nest of Pseudonigrita cahanisi.
