Abstract

Geomagnetic anomaly during summer and winter months is studied here. Asian and American zones have been considered separately. The range of latitudes over which the winter anomaly exists is found to be different at different hours. The analysis also shows that the latitudinal variation of f0F2 is asymmetrical with respect to the magnetic equator in both the Asian and American zones.
