Abstract
Orchard spraying practices are being revolutionized by another introduced pest wherever it is well established and favorable conditions for its rapid propagation exist. The European red mite, Paratetranychus pilosus C. & F., year by year is becoming a decided factor in the alteration of standard spray practices in apple, peach, plum, prune and cherry orchards.
