Abstract

A combined heavy boll weevil ( Anthonomus grandis Boh.) and pink bollworm ( Pectinophora gossypiella Saund.) infestation occurred in cotton at Tlahualilo, Durango, Mexico, in 1931. Weekly records were made on the percentage of both square and boll infestations caused by these two species. It was found that the multiplication and development of neither species was checked by that of the other.
