The Galaxy NGC 7625 Demoulin, Marie-Helene Abstract NGC 7625 is a peculiar SO galaxy with a large amount of dust irregularly distributed. The spectrum is a very early-type one with the Balmer lines well visible in absorption from H~3 to H12. Emission lines usually found in spiral galaxies are intense. The region 3.5 kpc in diameter rotates as a solid body and has a mass of 8 X 1O~ Mo. The total mass of the galaxy, which is 7 kpc in diameter, is ~s~1.6 X 1O'~ Mo, andM/L~25 Publication: The Astrophysical Journal Pub Date: July 1969 DOI: 10.1086/150050 Bibcode: 1969ApJ...157...69D full text sources ADS | data products SIMBAD (1) NED (1) Related Materials (2) Part 2: 1969ApJ...157...75D Part 3: 1969ApJ...157...81D
