Observations nouvelles sur les axes végétatifs de Drepanophycus spinaeformis Göppert de L'emsien Inferieur des “Nouvelles carrières” de Dave, Belgique

Abstract

Specimens collected from Lower Emsian deposits in the “Nouvelles Carrières” of Dave, Belgium, are assigned to Drepanophycus spinaeformis Göppert. They show occurrence of obvious lateral branching and of variation in the leaf arrangement along the vegetative axes. These features, together with the status of the species D. spinaeformis, are discussed.
