Abstract

The results of 100 aortographies and 28 cerebral angiographies performed by contercurrent manual injection through the brachial artery in children under 5 years of age are described. The technique, complications and incidence of filling of the carotid and vertebral arteries are discussed. The effect of malformations of the major thoracic vessels upon filling of the cerebral vessels is also analysed. The following conclusions follow from this study:
