Abstract

Objective To observe the efficacy of intravitreal injection of Conbercept on the treatment of exudative age-related macular degeneration(AMD). Methods A self-control series case study. The data of 43 eyes of 38 patients with exudative AMD from Jun.2015 to Dec.2016 were enrolled and observed. All cases were treated with intravitreal injection of Conbercept once a month. The visual acuity and central macular retinal thickness(CMRT) before and after each injection were compared. The postoperative complications such as endophthalmitis, secondary glaucoma, retinal detachmentand and vitreous hemorrhage were observed. Results Visual acuity after each injection were better than that before the first injection, the difference was statistically significant (P 0.05). No severe eye or systemic complication happened after injection. Conclusion Intravitreal injection of Conbercept in the treatment of exudative AMD is safe and effective. The visual acuity can be kept relatively stable. Key words: Macular degeneration, age-related, exudative; Conbercept, intravitreal injectionl; Thickness, retinal, central macular
