Abstract
We studied vortex states in Bi 2Sr 2CaCu 2O 8+ y under tilted fields by means of Bitter decoration. The results in large in-plane fields up to 3000 Oe show zigzag arrangement of vortices in addition to the chains. A possible origin of this novel arrangement of vortices is discussed.
