Abstract

Objective To explore the affection of prone and lateral position to central discectomy.Methods A total of 60 cases of central posterior discectomy were randomly divided into prone position and lateral position group,30 cases in each group.The surgery duration,hemorrhage,respiration,axillary nerve compression were observed.Results The difference in terms of surgery duration,hemorrhage,axillary nerve compression,activities of limbs were statistically significant in two groups(P<0.05).Conclusions Prone position in central discectomy is conducive to operation,can shorten the operation time,reduce the amount of bleeding,prevent and reduce damage during operation.
