Abstract
The anomalous peaks in the temperature dependences of the magnetic moment and the transverse Nernst voltage were observed in Tl 2Ba 2CaCu 2O x single crystals, when a perpendicularly directed temperature gradient and transport current were applied. The effects observed have been discussed within the context of the fluctuation vortex dynamics and vortex-antivortex imbalance in the Berezinskii-Kosterlitz-Thouless temperature regime. A model for the magnetic moment and the Nernst voltage in zero magnetic field was proposed corresponding to the principle of flux conservation. The model accounts for the results obtained.
