Abstract
Abstract Mossbauer experiments between 77° and 500°K in 151 Eu 3 S 4 are reported. An electron hopping model together with an exchange narrowing formula yield a temperature dependent hopping time characteristic of an activation process. The activation energy found is 0.24 eV. Electrical conductivity measurements yield an activation energy of 0.22 eV.
