Abstract

Objective To observe the effecs of two kinds of different temperature rinse solution on chest cavity flushing. Methods 80 open chest surgery patients were divided into experimental group (40 cases) and control group (40 cases). At the end of surgery, the chest cavity in control group patients were flushed with the physiological saline (3 000±10)ml under the room temperature, while those in observation group were received (36±1 ) ℃ physiological saline (3 000±10) ml. The vital sigh and the incidence of adverse effects were observed among two groups. Results There were no difference in terms of vital sign among two groups. While the adverse effecs in observation group were lower than that in control group (P<0.05), the difference had statistical significance. Conclusions Using physiological saline to flush chest cavity, closing to body temperature, ,can clean chest cavity, and reduce the incidence of adverse effects.
