Abstract
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of video-assisted thoracoscopic radical resection on early stage non-small cell lung cancer. Methods Eighty patients with early non-small cell lung cancer were retrospectively analyzed. According to the method of surgery, the patients were divided into the traditional group and VATS group. The treatment effects between the two groups were compared. Results The operation time of thoracoscopy group was longer than that of traditional group, and the drainage tube time and hospitalization time were shorter than those of traditional group. The complication rate of thoracoscopy group was 10%, and that of traditional group was 25%, the difference was significant(P<0.05). Conclusions Video-assisted thoracoscopic radical resection for early stage non-small cell lung cancer can reduce the postoperative complications and accelerate the recovery of patients, so it is worth popularizing.
