Abstract
The de Haas–van Alphen oscillations of the sound velocity in the Kondo lattice compound CeB 6 have been observed at low temperatures down to 27 mK. The obtained cyclotron effective masses of 3.1∼29.8 m O in CeB 6 indicate a mass enhancement about 100 times larger than that of the counterpart ρ branch in the reference compound LaB 6 .
