Abstract

AFMR spectra of single crystal NdFe3(BO3)4 are studied over frequencies of 15–32.2 GHz and temperatures of 2.17–10 K in fields H < Hsf. The presence of an incommensurate magnetic structure in these parameter ranges is found to lead to significant changes in the resonance properties of the system. The frequencies of the ordinary resonance remain finite up to the spin-flop transition field Hsf and an additional branch of excitations with unusual hysteresis properties appears. The frequency-field and frequency-temperature dependences for this branch are determined within the above ranges of these parameters.
