Abstract

Using the 13.7m radio telescope at Qinghai Observing Station of Purple Mountain Observatory, CO(J=1-0) molecular spectral line observations in the regions around the infrared sources IRAS 05437-0001 and IRAS 05351+3549 were carried out. It is discovered that there are very intense emissions in the direction of these two sources. And the CO spectral lines have conspicuous wing components implying molecular outflows. For each source 5′ × 5′ maps were obtained. By the observation and analysis of the space distribution of high velocity gases, it is found that these sources are sources of molecular outflow. Of the two, IRAS 05437-0001 exhibits a rather complicated structure of outflow in its neighbouring region. It is possible that the outflow here is multipolar in form. The structure of outflow around IRAS 05351+3549 is simpler. From the classification of infrared spectra of the two sources and the dynamic timescale of outflows, it is found that the stars are young (with ages ≈ 10 5 yrs). From the parameters of the two outflow sources, their mass loss rates are estimaeted.
