Abstract

Some aspects on nidification behavior of three species of turtles [Podocnemis unifdis (Troschel, 1848), Podocnemis sextuberculata (Cornalia, 1849) and Podocnemis expansa (Schweigger, 1812)] in the northern Brazilian Amazonia are reported. The three species showed similar nidification activities.
