Abstract

The picture of the human attitude towards the sacred in the songs (on the example of texts performed by polish-speaking children from Divine Heart Parish in Czech Cieszyn) Summary The subject of this article are texts of songs performed by children and young people in the Czech-Cieszyn Divine Heart Parish, or more precisely, the emerging image of the attitude that a person should adopt towards the sacred, his place in relation to holiness. The analysis of the texts showed that the texts most often evoke the inferiority, obedience and servility of man, then thanksgiving, gratitude for life and salvation, praise of God, especially through singing. Man should adore God, love, trust in him, hope in him and strive for the sacred. Man desires closeness to the sacred, he needs a Lord through whom he satisfies his needs. After all, he should also spread he faith.
