Object Detection for Automatic Driving Based on Deep Learning

Abstract

With the continuous developing progress of automatic driving, object detection is continuously being applied and developed. This paper presents an overview of deep learning object detection algorithm that used in the field of automatic driving. In the first part, we will introduce the research status and challenges of deep learning-based object detection in automatic driving. In the second part, we will introduce a deep learning-based object detection algorithm. Distinct algorithms will be discussed in the same structure. 1) Introduction 2) Algorithm steps 3) Advantages and Disadvantages. In the third part, we will compare different algorithms according to different principles. In the fourth part, we will introduce the practical application of deep learning-based object detection algorithm in the field of automatic driving.
