Abstract

In this paper we share the background of our research group called CoCo. Grupo de Estudio y Trabajo sobre Cosas Cotidianas (Cultura Material) (CIS-CONICET/IDES). We have a self-managing character with focus on ethnographical approach of objects and materials with a contemporary and transdisciplinary perspective that involves disciplines such as geography, sociology, literature, philosophy and archaeology. In this text organized in two sections, Somos and Hacemos, we present our work dynamics and functioning strategies because we believe that our experience can serve as a trigger to revisit canonical agendas in the social sciences and generate new research strategies and forms of collective work.
