Abstract

The introduction of the object-oriented paradigm in software development marked a radical change in the methodology and approach of large-scale application development. This paper investigates parameters of a typical matrix organization to determine whether significant indicators exist that merit further consideration of object-analysis methods. A survey of a large, matrix organization taken across a vertical section of matrix workers was conducted. In this paper, the results of the survey and key managerial implications are presented.
