Abstract

Guy-André Voisin, MD, DSc (December 11th, 1920- July 18th, 2020) Guy-André Voisin was born on December 11th , 1920 and spent almost a century among us. He passed away on July 18th, 2020 leaving us without his wisdom and ever presence in the meetings on Reproductive Immunology. He was "a living legend" in our discipline, having been at its roots since the very beginning. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (1945) and Doctor of Science (1958) from the University of Paris. He married Jeanine Edmée Terressier on July 16th, 1959. His initial publications (not part of the current PUBMED system) were focused on autoimmunity of sperm/testis-specific antigens and on the Arthus reaction, published in competition at that time with no lesser person than Freund.
