Abstract
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Professor Michael Menaker on February 14, 2021. Professor Menaker was born in Vienna (Austria) in 1934 from American parents who were trained in psychoanalysis under Professor Sigmund Freud. The world of pineal research and chronobiology has lost a great scientist, wonderful mentor and compassionate friend.
