Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyse the scientific outputs of Zoltán Dörnyei (1960–2022) using metadata extracted from his 84 publications indexed in the Scopus database. It describes and visually represents his network of collaboration in terms of institutions and countries, along with revealing the scope and topical foci of his research by identifying and elaborating on the main themes of his research interests, including (1) individual differences in SLA, (2) research methodology, (3) theology and biblical interpretation, and (4) multilingualism. This study can help language teachers, practitioners, and researchers better understand the abundance and quality of Dörnyei’s research outputs throughout his academic career.
